First Primary Vote Rules Detailed For Women Voters

On August 8 the first primary for women to vote outside registration districts is held. Ballots lack party emblems and voters must declare politics. They receive either Republican or Democrat ballot and cannot vote on both tickets. In booth, mark an X before each name. unmarked names are not counted. August examinations by the State Civil Service Commission will be held the week of August 14. The official bulletin lists many posts including grade 8 bookkeepers, stenographers, typists, guards, matrons, operators, physicians, pharmacists, custodians, lab workers, supervisors, dentists, inspectors, and university assistants.
