Pedestrian dies in New Richmond accident
Harry Rosemire 42 of Mt. Carmel was killed early Monday morning on US 62 near New Richmond after stepping into a car’s path as headlights blinded him. Bill Arnold of New Richmond was cleared of blame. Rosemire, an employee of Walter Beckford Station Cincinnati Gas & Electric, died at a Cincinnati hospital. He leaves a large family, while Arnold is distraught. Church prayers were held for the deceased and visitors from New York and Ohio plan a family visit related to Batavia’s Sesquicentenary celebration.
