Batavian Dies After Weeks of Illness
M Long died at his home last Wednesday morning after a prolonged illness. A longtime contractor and builder, he was a well known Batavian, married with two sons and two daughters, the third daughter having died years before. He belonged to the Masonic order which conducted funeral services at the home. Burial followed in Union cemetery on Friday with Revs Smith and Burd sall officiating. Many friends and distant relatives attended.
