The Cass law did not require these provisions, so the purchasers declined the bonds. The county commissioners are not responsible for the failure to negotiate.

Chas Seyler of Seyler & Moyer suffered a badly cut arm Friday evening after starting an auto lamp. A prestolite delay left the glass door closed, gas accumulated, and an explosion occurred when a match was struck, shattering the glass and wounding his arm below the elbow with seven stitches. He will be out of work for a time but can still sell goods and discuss automobiles.

The Peebles Stone Company drilled about twenty to eighty holes and placed about three tons of dynamite last Saturday.
