The Batavia Junior Chautauqua week under Miss Bradley drew strong attendance. Children were split into three classes for English Danish and American games. An exhibit Friday showcased the lessons. Model School to Open at Stonelick Clermont County

Storm Devastates Clinton County Farms Hit By Wind
Harmon and J B Cover owners of two Clinton county farms suffered severe storm damage last Wednesday. One farm lost a large barn and crops valued around 500 dollars while the other barn was destroyed and outbuildings blown away with plaster torn from the house. Total losses estimated at 500 dollars, with insurance noted. The Deventon family monument in Green Lawn cemetery also toppled by the wind.
