Zimmer layoffs rise again at Zimmer Power Station
MOSCOW The Zimmer Power Station trimmed staff again last Friday as Cincinnati Gas and Electric laid off more workers amid its nuclear to coal conversion slated through August. About two thirds of 115 tons of uranium fuel has shipped for reprocessing and remanufacture for use at Susquehanna in Pennsylvania.

Cause of blaze unknown at Rhoads Lumber fire
Clermont County Arson Task Force says the June 29 blaze at Rhoads Lumber Corp. near Macedonia Red is still unsolved. The $100000 to $150000 damage affected the plant where worker has been employed since 1965. His wife described waking to their dogs barking then hearing an explosion before flames erupted.
