Pink roses and daisies adorned the room as Eleanor Jean and Martha Ann Fuhr carried rose buds. The couple left by auto for Cincinnati then train to their new home in Clarkesville Texas.

Burglars Captured After Pool Hall Burglary
George Hugo's pool room was entered last Wednesday morning. Herbert Storber and Nelson Covey were arrested in Norwood with cigars and cigarettes from the theft. Identified by Hugo, the goods were recovered and the pair jailed. A special grand jury indicted them on three counts including burglary and possession of stolen property. Hugo's losses and Storber's family details noted.

At the State Convention in Columbus the Sixth Congressional District endorsed Charles C. Kearns for nomination and re election to Congress with unanimous support from about sixty delegates. Burdsall Families Celebrate Dual Dayton Weddings
On June 26, 1924, at 10 a.m., Rev. and Mrs. Burdsall hosted a double wedding for John W. Burdsall and Mildred K. Myers with attendants including Wynona Myers and Cora Smith. The couple, who marked their 56th anniversary, planned a Cincinnati arrival and a Dayton View home inspection before a Yellowstone trip lasting 4 to 6 weeks. Later that day Francis H. Golden Wedding for Mr and Mrs Kirgan at Home
Mr and Mrs B H Kirgan celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their home near Amelia on Sunday June 22 from 8 to 11 pm. The ideal weather brought many friends from near and far as gifts including 150 dollars in gold were presented. A luncheon was served on the lawn and photographs were taken. Cloud Burst Destroys Farms in Clermont County
A Saturday night cloud burst in Clermont county damaged farms from Mt Carmel to Milford. Heavy rain washed cultivated hill land and carried mud into New Town bottoms covering potatoes cabbage and other truck. The Rose Hill pike near Union Bridge became impassable and fields from Perintown to Milford flooded threatening potato and tobacco crops with possible rot.

Death from Cow Kick Blood Poison Ends Life of Farmer
Lewis M. Hoffman a 68 year old farmer living near Elenor died a week after a minor scratch from a cow hoof became infected with blood poisoning. He died at 1 20 p m on Tuesday. Funeral services were held at his home with burial at Greenlawn cemetery.

Tire thieves strike cars near Heidlebaugh homes
Last Saturday at about 2 a.m. three tires vanished from the Red Cross Ford owned by Mrs Heidlebaugh, plus a tire and about 10 gallons of gasoline from Mr Heidlebaughs car and a tool kit and spotlight from Clyde Toms Ford. The two latter cars were in Tom s garage and all items except the tools were missing or damaged. The theft appears planned by someone familiar with the area.
