Aerial Radiation Survey Planned Around Zimmer Nuclear Plant
A blue and white helicopter will conduct an aerial survey of environmental radiation around the W. H. Zimmer Nuclear Power Plant near Moscow. The operation, conducted by EG&G Inc at Andrews Air Force Base, D.C., will occur the week of June 30 and fly at 300 feet or higher.

Mount Carmel man charged with drug trafficking
Clermont County deputies found 2000 methaqualone tablets and $11,500 cash in the Mount Carmel apartment of David McKnight Penn 485 Cincinnati Batavia Pike after a search warrant arrest. He received 30 days in jail and a three year probation term, still on probation at arrest.

Clermont County officials worry over I-275 route in March 1960 as local groups including the D A R League of Women Voters and PTA are active. Chair Factory leader Nicholas J White, 62, died February 12 1960 of heart attack at his son’s home in Mariemont. White led Williamsburg Chair Factory, a county business. A Batavia man was the first Clermont County drag racing offender tried in March 1960 after being stopped on SR 125 near Williamsville.
