The Swim to Sink Cancer event will be held by the Club and Terrace Park Club during July with winners announced in early August. Proceeds benefit the Clermont County Unit of the American Cancer Society to fund research education and service programs.
The Batavia stroke club will host its second gathering co sponsored by the Easter Seal Society and Clermont County Hospital. The event aims to raise awareness and share resources for stroke survivors and caregivers in the region.
The July 8 game at Willow Street ballfield features special guests Carolyn Rose and daughter Fawn with Deve Lee of Williamsburg Rotary Club making an appearance. Local band Landon and the Hardtimes perform before the game and hot-air balloon rides are offered. Proceeds go to the Ruth Lyors Children's Christmas Fund.
