Eastern Stars Meet Holds Annual 22nd District Reunion

Farm Women's Club Met At Mrs Foster Home

Born Dayton Ohio September 24 1868 Rev Aaron B College devoted sixty years to Methodist itinerant ministry across Kentucky and Ohio. He served Saylersville Olive Hill Concord Grant Germantown Latonia Ludlow Dayton Bellevue Main Street Covington Felicity Owensville Summerside and other charges before dying June 27 1914. Funeral services were held at Summerside and Covington with burial in Maysville Kentucky.

Barn Struck by Lightning Near New Richmond
A large barn on Mr. Wooley’s farm near New Richmond was struck by lightning last Thursday and partly destroyed. The barn holding hay and farm products remained unharmed, and neighbors quickly saved adjacent buildings. losses were light.

Young Mother Irvin Slade Dies After Four Year Illness
Mrs Irvin Slade of Elklick died Sunday after a prolonged cancer illness. Survived by husband and two young sons. Funeral Monday at Old Bethel church with burial there. She was respected by the Presbyterian congregation and will be missed.
