Harold P. Howe, son of E. W. and a Chile merchant and postmaster, died Sunday at Dr. Thomas Longworth’s Felicity home. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Broadwell Funeral Home in Felicity, with his widow Lelia and parents surviving along with siblings Elsa Groff Mabel Denniston Viola Berger and Hurdes Howe.

Milford Woman Killed In Crash On Indian Hill
Mrs. Edith Bass a 63 year old Milford resident was killed when a car carrying four others veered off Indian Hill Road east of Drake Road and struck a tree. The vehicle driven by Mrs. T A Scott of Milford was passing a milk truck when it left the road. Mrs. Bass died instantly from a fractured skull. Also in the car were Susie Bass her 87 year old mother and two 16 year old Milford girls Jean Bass and Martha Miller.

Woman Rescued From Floodwaters After Suicide Attempt

State Conservation Commissioner Lawrence Wooddel reports that Ohio inland lakes and streams received 2,498,997 game fish last fall. An additional 1,799,740 forage fish were planted to replenish prey.
