The Amelia Road Runners will meet February 21 at Amelia Church to plan their Winter meet. All persons interested in running are invited to attend and may join the club for the season.
East Fork State Park hosts a cross country ski clinic and dinner cookout in the afternoon. Skiers must preregister at 2.50 dollars, bring their own equipment, and can rent gear from Wilderness Trace Inc in Sharonville Terrace Park or Outdoor Adventures in Clifton on Montgomery Road. Campers are invited to a Winter Campout at East Fork State Park on Friday and Saturday. Participants may stay in tents, campers or homes with heated restrooms and outdoor cooking areas. Activities include ice skating, sled riding, a Sunday morning hike, and optional post-event skating or sledding. For more information contact organizers.

Sen Snyder and Finan back a bill creating a third general division judge to handle a rising backlog in Clermont County. The measure, not taking effect until Jan 1 1983, would hold the election in November 1982 and adds a referee for civil cases and a panel for smaller damages claims.
