Milford Man Dies in $215000 Fire at Feldman Plant
Charles B Davis 48, a chemist and sales manager for Lloyd Bros Pharmacists in Cincinnati, died after a fall from the roof of the Feldman Frozen Food Storage Plant near Milford during a blaze that damaged the plant, with losses estimated around 150000 to 215000. The fire began Saturday night, hindered by cold and water shortages, with Milford firefighters aided by nearby departments. Davis's daughter Eloise witnessed the fall. he died 15 minutes after arriving at Christ Hospital. Burial followed at Greenlawn cemetery. he is survived by his wife Lenore, daughters Eloise and Marilyn, and his mother.

Soldier Henson Hurt by Fall in Austria

Four Bethel youths injured in highway crash
Four Bethel youths aged 18 to 21 were hospitalized in serious condition after a head on collision with a tree on a highway near Amelia Ohio. Richard Florida Rob ert Heslar Erwin Ayres and Edwin Leeds were returning from Cincinnati when the driver Florida fell asleep. The left side of the car was demolished and injuries included a fractured hip crushed chest scalp wounds and head injuries. All are from well known Bethel families.

Ration Board Renames Itself Price Control Board
Clermont County Rationing Board has renamed itself the Price Control Board as rationing ends. The panel reports progress toward price control with settlements reached with five automobile sellers for overcharges up to 55 dollars, and one case for about 200 dollars referred to the district office. Four Milford High School students were placed on one year probation in the custody of their parents after looting the Feldman Frozen Food Storage plant during a fire.
