Milton Jamieson Retires After Long Service at First National Bank
Milton Jamieson retires from the presidency of the First National Bank after decades of involvement in law real estate and banking. He helped found the bank in 1865 with R W Clarke and the McGrew brothers and led as cashier and president. His successor is R W C Gregg born 1859, a Batavia native and former board member of the State Reformatory at Mansfield.

Otto Hotlenberger, 80, a Bell Telephone Company lineman, was killed Monday while repairing a line. He touched two wires causing a heavy current to pass through his body. Born in Loveland, he was foreman of the Muemen gang and highly regarded. he left two sisters and an uncle Otto Kraft of Loveland.

Farewell to Erastus Hulick a Batavia farmer dies at 80s
Erastus Hulick a longtime Batavia county farmer died suddenly at his Batavia farm on Friday morning at about 80. He leaves three daughters, two sons, and two grandchildren. A quiet, hospitable man built a model home shaded by flowers and lawn. Funeral services were held at the Hulick home with Rev. Bussell reading. Interment followed in Batavia Citizens Cemetery.

Seventeen Year Old Lulu Carter Dies Sudden Death
Lulu Carter aged 17 daughter of Charley Carter died Sunday night at the Ballinger home after declaring she would die that night. John Williams, veteran of the 34th Ohio, died at his Goshen home January 5 1907 aged 81. Native of Philadelphia he lived in Clermont county most of his life except four years Army service. He married Achsah Smith in 1846 and had two sons and five daughters. A Royal Arch Mason, he studied his order and Scripture in later years. he belonged to the M E Church and was highly esteemed.
