OC and P revised timetable to take effect January 18
The OC, G. and P. drafts a new timetable with the old Carrel Street station to be discontinued. All trains will run to the Cincinnati terminal at Eastern and Stanley Avenues, offering direct links to East End cars and near Delta Avenue. Washington January 9. An omnibus pension bill increases government expenditures by 161000 annually and raises monthly pensions for Civil War widow beneficiaries to 40 55 or 60 dollars. Raids Seize 1400 Gallons in Ohio Prohibition Sweep
In Wellsville and East Liverpool, eight Steubenville detectives aided by three East Liverpool patrolmen arrested seven men and seized 1400 gallons of liquor. Seven warrants remain to be served as the clean up continues. Suspects are held without bail. East Liverpool officials planned a dry detective ordinance offering 10 percent of fines to investigators.

Carl W. Hahn, a prosperous young farmer, delivered 2,420 pounds of tobacco last week from the P. Cappell farm averaging 89 cents per pound, with some grades as high as 49 cents.
