Bethel Tate Consolidated School District tax levy passed by 653 to 440, but Prosecutor Frank A. Roberts said it is illegal due to a wrong date on the resolution. Attorney O. E. New Richmond High to Present Cincinnati String Quartet
The New Richmond high school music department presents the Cincinnati String Quartet in an evening of classical and contemporary chamber music on February 4 at 8 pm in the school auditorium. State Highway Dept Moves Local Offices to Clermont Court House
The State Highway Department relocates from the First National Bank Building Batavia to the Clermont County Court House basement. The space was allotted by county commissioners last week. No rent will be charged. the department will provide its own telephone service.

Floater Found Identifies Ohio River Death Victim
Louis Wenzel of Moscow found the body of E C Roane age 60 of 624 West Third Huntington WV in the Ohio river. Roane jumped from a ferry boat six weeks ago and drowned. Sheriff Auxier removed the body to Boardwell Funeral Home Felicity. Identification card in his coat pocket. He left a wife who received the body. No reason given for the act.
