Transportation To Batavia Offered For Registration

The West Clermont Citizens School Committee offers transport from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday January 13 to register at the Batavia Board of Elections. Deadline to register is February 10 with a special election for the West Clermont schools tax levy on February 20. Those needing transport should contact Clark at 752-3309.

Bethel zoning hearing signals airport authority push

A Bethel public hearing on the zoning code will draw village council members and county planners tonight. If no objections arise, the council may adopt the ordinance. Clermont County plans committee considers a regional airport authority with Anstaett leading the study and a $34,600 county share approved.

DAR Meeting To View Film On West Coast Riot

MULBERRY The Beech Forest Chapter DAR opens its year with a 7 30 pm meeting at the Church of Christ. Hostesses are Mrs James Fox Mrs Arthur Wiedenbaum and Mrs Grace M Hirschauer. Regent Mrs Oscar Dumford presides and a nominating committee will be named. Delegates to the state conference in Columbus in March and the national convention in Washington DC will be elected. Bowling Tourn ements Add $600 To Local Heart Fund Drive

Clermont County bowling lanes raised 601.90 for the Heart Fund with tourney chairmen from Wilhi amsville Ohio Pike Bowl and others turning in funds. Winners include Marcella Carmasino, Bill Kennedy, Cliff Huff. other venues report prize lists and donor totals. The Heart Fund plans to make the bowling events an annual effort.

Leaders met to plan financing through five thousand dollars in nominal bonds to buy a site and start engineering. The hospital would serve about 95 000 people within a 15 mile radius.

Branch College Here Urged By Gov. DiSalle

Governor Michael V. DiSalle urged Clermont County to establish a two-year branch college. He said sound planning attracts industry and cited a 238 percent rise in residents under 18 from 1950 to 1960.
