On a Newtonsville area farm Henry Limes shot at tenant Otto Warner after a dispute over year end settlement. Warner fired back with a loaded shotgun injuring Limes in the back, knees and hips. No arrests have been made though a grand jury may consider carrying concealed weapons charges.
Williamsburg residents present a program of comedies sketches and music under Miss Mina P White management in the K of P hall Friday evening February 27. Proceeds go to the Williamsburg public library. Admission 16 and 10 cents.
Mrs Sarah Brown widow of J L Brown died at her home last Friday after about three weeks sickness brought on by a heavy cold. She was a church worker and liberal, held in high esteem. Survived by two daughters Mrs Lionel Walker Peru Ind and Mrs D K Mc Donald this place and one brother Eastwood. Funeral from residence Sunday morning at 9 80 conducted by Rev Burdsall with burial in Greenlawn Milford.
Mr. Marsh formerly infirmary director for two terms, resident of Owensville, died Tuesday morning from cancer of the face. Survived by a widow and three children: Mrs. L C Dietz, Professor A T Marsh, and Dr. Hanson Marsh. Funeral at his residence Thursday at 1:80 o'clock, burial in I O C cemetery.
