Pierce Township police officer and zoning inspector Leonard Billingsley 63 of 24 E Main St Amelia died Saturday night at Deaconess Hospital from an apparent heart attack he had been hospitalized since Friday. He was married to the late Dorothy Glover Billingsley a former Amelia elementary school teacher. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the E C Nurse Funeral Home with burial in Mt Moriah Cemetery. He is survived by a daughter Mrs Colin Stewart two grandsons Todd and Mark Stewart a brother Victor Billingsley and two sisters Mrs Dossie Sargent and Mrs Eunice Sears.
