Physician Saves Sailor Life With Vacuum Cleaner
Naval physician Dr. Arthur H. Fix Jr. revived a 21 year old sailor after collapse from pneumonia and heart failure using a vacuum cleaner to remove lung fluid. He credits 240 crewmen aboard and was flown to the ship by helicopter. The doctor plans to practice in Clermont County after discharge in May or June.
