Boy Scout Troop 452 in Withamsville hosts a paper drive at St. Thomas More Church parking lot 800 Ohio Pike on Saturday and Sunday February 20 and 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Newspapers only no magazines or cardboard. Sheriff’s office and police from six states discuss Robert Dale Henderson in Atlanta after Clermont County Prosecutor George Pattison says no indictment yet until more information is obtained. Henderson is charged in Adams County for murders of his wife’s family and is the prime suspect in Jerilyn Stanfield abduction and related crimes, as a statewide task force shares evidence findings.
County commissioners hear no decision on reuse of seven shut down sewerage plants occupying about 32 acres. Union Township officials Clermont County Park Board and the Clermont water and sewer department plan a tour of the sites to seek a possible resolution. Former trustee Kerryvin sparked discussion about transferring the property to the township for potential use such as a shooting range.
The John Coyne murder trial continues this week with defense attorney Andrew Dennison. A witness testified that Coyne called him the evening of the 28th asking him to come to the shooting, describing the incident as unfortunate.

Trustee McBride and Trustee Catherine (Linda) Wuerdeman voiced opinions, while Trustee Spinelli was absent. Bus service plans were announced to connect outlying areas with Cincinnati. Zoning Trustees denied George Armstrong's request to rezone about 12 acres.
A fire at a two story Batavia Townaip residence partially burned the building last Wednesday morning. Fire units from Batavia and BMOP arrived and forced entry through the tin roof to extinguish flames. The blaze may have been started by a wood furnace.
