Fire investigators probe a blaze at the Wishing Well Tavern and dance hall in Perintown that caused an estimated 62 000 dollars in damage. The 2 a.m. fire started under the dance floor near the front, with heavy smoke and structural features hindering crews from Day Heights and Owensville. About 20 to 25 patrons were inside. eight hours and 15 minutes of firefighting followed.

Three year old Christopher Saldana, son of Mr and Mrs Jose Saldana, from Georgetown East Apartments, Mt Carmel, drowned in a pool around 2 pm Tuesday.
