The Clermont County Farm Bureau Cooperative Association met on February 8 1940 at United Brethren Church Hall Batavia with about 300 farmers attending. Reports by Caldwell Stoddard and Oldman highlighted progress while three directors Garney Roush Earl Groppenbacher and Harry Nott were elected for three year terms. Funeral Services for R. F. Erdman Held in New Richmond
Funeral services for R. F. Erdman 63 were held Sunday at 2 PM from the T. P. White Sons Home with the New Richmond Masonic Order in charge. Erdman treasurer of Clermont County from 1931 to 1935 died Thursday at 4 AM after a paralytic stroke. He leaves a widow Myrle Hoardman Nicholsville a son Richert a daughter Pauline and another son in Cincinnati.

The semi annual personal and classified tax collection begins Friday February 23 in the county treasurer office. Forms have been mailed, with an expected total of about 50000 dollars 30000 in intangibles and 20000 in personal tax. State Game Protector Distributes 264 Rabbits in Clermont County
Edgar Anstaett, state game protector, announced last week the disposition of 264 Missouri rabbits across 22 parts of Clermont county. Rabbits were distributed in groups of eight to six pairs and released at least three miles from the nearest orchard.

J. W. Smith of Williamsburg and W. A. Stratton near Marathon on Route 50 are the initial Clermont County census workers.
