The Red Lobster restaurant received a permit from the Ohio Department of Liquor Control allowing Sunday liquor sales from 1 p.m. to midnight. J. Frankenhoff was also granted a carry-out permit for powered beer and wine.
A West Clermont student was informed by the Ohio American Legion Department Headquarters that she had been selected as a district winner in the Americanism and Government Test Program. She was among 14 district winners in the Career Science by Teaster drill team in Cincinnati.
David Wayne Robinson, of 1712 State Route 744 in Tate, died after moving lines and contacting electrical current. The death was reported to the Clermont County Sheriff's Office and occurred on February 1 in an auto mishap context.
A theft reported to Clermont County Sheriff’s Office says someone broke a trailer window at Jones Construction on Highway 756 and stole three hydraulic jacks two pumps three calculators a concrete saw and a socket wrench set. The loss occurred late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
Probation violator King surrendered to authorities in Clermont County. He originally received a 16 year sentence at the Ohio State Reformatory, later suspended and replaced with a three year probation. In August 1979 he was found guilty of another crime in Hamilton County, with authorities pursuing him amid intensified probation enforcement. Officer Bateman said he was tired of constantly looking over his shoulder. Judge Hill reimposed the sentence.
A lone gunman robbed the K Store on State Route 28 and Woodville Pike of 140 dollars late Wednesday. Early Thursday a similar suspect fled the USA Service Station on State Route 28 and I 275 with about 170 dollars, escaping in a nearby car. Police reported no other details.
Donna Louise Drew daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Drew of Price Hill will wed on May 2 in New Richmond. She is a graduate of Western Hills High School and Cincinnati Technical College and attended St Elizabeth Hospital in Covington, Kentucky.

Commissioners approve abandoning 2900 feet of Bolender Road in Washington. Six area residents protested earlier, saying the road provided evacuation access in case of an accident at the nearby Wm. H. Zimmer Nuclear Power Station at Moscow. A former Stonelick resident noted possible road financing needs.
Twenty seven residents of Batavia Nursing Home were housed at other area facilities after frozen water pipes forced evacuation. Red Cross workers set up cots at Batavia Elementary School as Life Squad members from Batavia Monroe Ohio Pierce and Stonelick assisted.INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS of Masonic Lodge 61 William A Buchanan and J B Covert Lodge officers were installed by H James Rodgers and others.
