A Tribute to Carl Poston
The Soil Conservation Service and Clermont Soil & Water Conservation District mourn the loss of Carl M. Poston who died on December 20, 1970. Poston began his career September 25, 1945 after Army service, serving 29 years as a Conservation Technician. He aided landowners with design survey and layout of conservation practices, helped establish terraces waterways and drainage systems, and designed ponds that still provide recreation and livestock water. His coworkers recall his cooperative spirit humor sincerity and dedication.
