Grant Memorial Group Faces Highway Problem

The Grant Memorial Highway Association seeks funds to improve the eight mile stretch from New Richmond to Moscow Ohio. State and county authorities have contributed stone and equipment while local towns and residents donate labor and cash to ready the highway for Grant birthday events on April 27 1922.

Irvin Kibler Hillsboro Republican for State Central Committeeman was denied for using an obsolete form from 1963. Scholarship Fund Honors Harry Moore at Cincinnati University

A fund named The Harry R. Moore Scholarship Loan Fund was created at the University of Cincinnati to provide loans for Clermont County students pursuing education at the Batavia branch. Contributions from teachers and school staff support loans based on scholarship and financial need, with recipient selection aligned to Moore’s wishes.

Batavia business group seeks vox pop on new firehouse site

The Batavia Business Association led by Leroy Creager asks residents to sign petitions to urge the Council to choose a site other than the current firehouse for a new facility. The petition questions the 65 000 cost and limited parking, proposing state or other property with ample space and low cost to taxpayers.
