Mad Dog Killed by Sheriff on Williamsburg Pike
Sheriff Croswell and Deputy Daw son were alerted Sunday morning by Mrs. Clarence Reynolds near Batavia about a mad dog on the pike heading toward Batavia. They found a large frothing dog, fired with a shotgun, ending the threat. The dog was a stray. number of bites on the road unknown.

Farm quarrel ends in stabbing at Lorado farm
On a Lorado area farm near Jackson Township Arch Taylor allegedly stabbed Chas Moore twice in the back over the kidneys during a corn division dispute. Moore was treated by Dr Haas while Riley Taylor struck Moore's father with a wood stick. Arch Taylor pleaded not guilty to cutting with intent to kill and was bound over to the grand jury on $2000. Deputy Dawson and Ora Malott placed Taylor under arrest.
