Frank Frazer died in Kansas City Missouri on February 2 1904 at age 33 after two weeks with pneumonia. He was born March 24 1871 in Bethel and lived in New Richmond from 1873. He moved to Missouri in 1884 and to Kansas City in 1887 and was a longtime member of the Baintiat church. Funeral services were held February 4 at the South Park Bepttet church with many friends in attendance. he married Anna White in June 1903 who survives him.
John E. Cundiff, a lifelong Amelia resident and former wagon maker, died early Sunday after a paralyzing stroke. A Virginia native who moved to Ohio at 14, he served 3 years and 3 months in Company L of the 5th Ohio Cavalry and was active in Grand Army circles. His remains were laid to rest in Amelia M. E. Cemetery after funeral services at the local Methodist church.

Morton works in a West Virginia glass factory.

Tim O Malley, longtime trusted engine tender at the N and W rail yard, is being replaced by a new 75000 gallon blue water tank and Batavia water works system. The veteran mechanic’s fifty years of faithful service are praised, and he is expected to be offered a new position rather than seek work.

The Brown County Agricultural Society board re elected officers at last week’s meeting. W K Thompson remains president Jacob Pabst is vice president J W Hedrick continues as secretary and B M Marshall stays treasurer. The fair opens Tuesday October 4 and runs four days.
