Clermont county was well represented in a session praised as the most enthusiastic in the district.

Batavian Auto Crash Claims Life of Child and Injures Family
A severe auto collision on the Dixie Highway near Stockton, Ohio, kills 9 year old Ralph Erion and injures Albert Erion, his wife, and six children. The five occupants of the other car, all negroes, include Warren Jones the driver who is jailed on manslaughter charges. Batavia man injured at work in Williamsburg incident
George Carter, recently moved from Batavia to Williamsburg and employed by the N. and W. A. R. Co. at Clare, escaped serious injury when a jack slipped and a heavy weight fell on his right wrist. He was bruised and held fast until coworkers freed him. several days will pass before he regains full use.

Tragedy Near Williamsburg: Madisonville Man Killed in Car Crash
Wesley Vandaman 49 of Madisonville died Sunday morning when the auto he rode in crashed into a guard rail near Yellow Hill below Williamsburg. Driver William Colter of Madisonville confessed to stealing the Chevrolet. Passengers included Vandaman’s sister Anna Abanks and two daughters Ruth and Ethel, plus Walter G. Maher and Colter. The car was abandoned for a furniture trip to Seaman. Vandaman’s body moved to Dailey & Madams funeral home. the women were taken to a local hotel. Colter and Maher were questioned. Colter confessed theft and license transfer, and two youths were later accused and jailed in Cincinnati for the death and car ownership dispute.
