Williamsville Tabasco Credit Union elects new board members
The Williamsville Tabasco Community Credit Union held its annual meeting on January 15 at Alomar Inn. Officers were re-elected for the 1959 term and two new board members joined to fill vacancies created by members stepping down. Ohio Local Government Funds Rise on Sales and Intangible Taxes
The 1958 Ohio local government fund totaled 50,050,544 dollars, up 2,260,443 from 1957. Clermont County received 138,148.91, drawn from state sales tax and intangible tax paid by financial institutions and securities dealers. The sales tax contributed 23,959,056 and the intangible tax 26,091,488. All intangible tax revenue returns to the county of origin, with distribution set by the legislature and local budget commissions.
