Cornering the Commissioners in Milford Turnpike Suit

Trustees of the Milford and Chillicothe Turnpike Company sue Clermont county for 20000 damages claiming the board of commissioners seized the road without due process or compensation. Court Notes Show DeBeck Case Wraps Up And Judge Cowen Speaks

Illness kept the court idle for a week after the DeBeck divorce. Several cases settled Saturday including McNair matter dismissals and a $200 judgment in favor of Robert McNair. Fatal Fall Kills Alfred Kellar on Ice Roof

Alfred Kellar aged twenty three died after slipping from the roof while clearing snow and ice in Miama ville Ohio. The fall fractured his neck and was witnessed by several people before he died instantly, reported by Con W Gatch. The Felicity Times notes multiple ice related injuries in the area, including breaks and sprains among residents.

Batavia lodge installs officers in quiet, pleasant setting

The Batavia F and A M lodge held a public installation last Thursday at the corner Main and Second streets.
