Farmer James Evanshine dies after illness at 64
James Evanshine 64 died at his Mt. Pisgah home on December 22 after weeks of illness. A lifelong thrashing contractor for 45 years, he is survived by a wife, son, and daughter. Funeral services were held December 24 at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Mt. Pisgah. He was widely known locally.

B L Ketchum former Clermont County auditor who was sentenced to the Ohio Penitentiary in May 1935 for issuing false county warrants will be paroled on March 10 1937 according to an announcement from Columbus Tuesday. Ketchum was sentenced from 1 to 10 years when found guilty by a jury in common pleas court.

Mr and Mrs John Hahn of Batavia celebrated their fifty seventh wedding anniversary with a party at the home of Mr and Mrs Stanley Huber. They married December 24 1879 in Cincinnati. Clermont County will send 17 boys to Civilian Conservation Corps camps during enrollment from January 1 to 20, 1937. Applicants should contact the county relief office at Batavia.
