Clermont County Safety Drive Continues For Holidays
The region broadens a major traffic safety campaign led by the Clermont County Traffic Safety Council with support from service stations motels and the Ohio Traffic Safety Division. About 8000 safety pamphlets have been distributed across the county and council members including James L. Brown Troy Davis Frank Fender Hubert LaForge Tony Lang William Parrott Walter Raidt Reverend Peyton D Reed and Charles Sibert contributed. Reverend Reed urged drivers to make safety a Christmas gift by giving right of way and courtesy to prevent accidents and hospital stays.

Tax receipts from prepaid tax sales in Clermont County for the week ending December 8 totaled 16 589 02 dollars, up 359 19 from the previous year. Cumulative revenues since July 1 reached 362 017 72, versus 398 118 50 a year ago.
