Two Funerals Reported in Local Churches
Mrs Henry Schultz of Owensville and Matthew Yost of Elklick were buried from local churches with interments in Union Cemetery. Schultz left a husband and several children after years of illness. Yost died at his brother in law’s home and was buried beside Schultz. State aid funds provide relief for Ohio schools with about four million dollars appropriated. On December 6 William Worsham was before the Juvenile Court charged with contributing to his three children's delinquency by failing to keep them in school. He received a $25 fine with costs and a suspended sentence conditioned on proper school attendance.
