Oney Returns as Special Adviser to County Commissioners
Wayne Oney a retired director of the Clermont County Welfare Department returns as a part time special adviser to county commissioners on social services. He may work up to 472 hours a year without affecting retirement benefits and will assist in integrating the workfare program and the federal CETA emphasis. Oney will guide staffing and procedures at Children’s Services and help coordinate the welfare department with broader county social services.

Felicity man’s probation reimposed in Ohio court
John Perin A 22 year old former Felicity man Edward Metze III had his probation revoked in Clermont County Common Pleas Court on Monday. Judge Louis J Schwartz reimposed an original sentence of two to five years for gross sexual imposition. The sentence was suspended and Metze placed on three years probation after the October 1980 conviction. Metze was arrested at a Jacksonville Florida probation office while reporting for an assignment.
