James I. Stephenson of Cincinnati with a summer home at New Richmond shot himself in the brain in his bathroom on Thursday night. The 50 year old had recently disposed of his holdings and faced lawsuits from George L. Sexton Company payable at Guarantee Trust in Cincinnati. He was married with a wife and two sons, and owned the Ford Veary farm on the Nicholsville pike with fine horses. Relatives and friends mourn the rash act.
