Eastgate Mall promotes a Christmas sale December 10 through 13 with hundreds of items for gifts. The list features organs video tapes guitars sports equipment electronics and home goods among others. Gift certificates redeemable at any store are available and many stores offer special sale prices during the event.
Special holiday hours for skippers at Leos Om Sa Mal extend from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm with 10:00 am to 9:30 pm daily through Dec 19. Christmas week hours run 10:00 am to 5:30 pm from Dec 21 to Dec 24. Eastgate Mall closes on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Families lined up for photos with Santa at Eastgate with hours daily 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. plus 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. Kids tell Santa what they want. each child gets a free Christmas coloring book after the portrait.
Animals from Jo-Dor Farms at Eastgate Mall who delighted children in October will return January 5 to 10, 1982. Rabbits, Sicilian burros, geese, monkeys, and other animals will be on display, offering an educational, hands on experience for families.
