Girl Scout Troop 899 of St. Andrew's School Milford presented dolls for Clermont County Neediest Kids Christmas Fund. Co chairmen Donald Patton and Joseph Schott II accepted the donations as leaders and volunteers pose. The drive, now in its third year, supports needy children with toys and clothing. Contributions can be mailed to Box 311 Batavia or dropped at announced collection points.

Youth Kittrell Hurt In Fall At Home
Kit Kittrell, 19, of 1927 Clepper Lane, is in serious condition at Good Samaritan Hospital with a broken neck fractured skull and brain concussion after a fall at his home. He struck the base of his skull on a concrete floor. His father saved him with mouth to mouth resuscitation until North Union Life Squad arrived and Corpsmen transported him to the hospital. Mrs Joy E Kittrell is named in connection with the incident.

Cadet Major Fahriender Named Acting AFROTC Wing Commander
Cadet Major Theodore T. Fahriender of 4703 Summerside Rd. has been appointed acting commander of the University of Cincinnati AFROTC cadet wing. He is a senior in UC’s McMicken College and has led the Kitty Hawk drill team and captained the rifle team. He is taking flight training at Lunken Airport for a private pilot license and heads toward AF pilot training after graduation in June 1963. He earned an outstanding rating after four weeks of AFROTC training at Fairchild AFB in Washington.
