Tobacco yields good profit from Ky 16 crop
J Nobis of Locust Corner reports 4666 pounds of Ky 16 tobacco from 1.9 acres sold at 52.8 cents per pound for about $2500. He used five tons per acre barnyard manure, 100 pounds of 20 percent phosphate per load, and 1000 pounds of 4-12-8 fertilizer. Alva Rybolt Former Milford Resident Dies at 61
Former Milford resident Alva Rybolt died last Wednesday in Middletown Hospital after a weeklong illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at McCoy Leffler Funeral Home Middletown with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery Milford. He was 61, born in Milford, a carpenter, and lived in Middletown 35 years. Surviving are two sons Charles H. Rybolt of Buffalo New York and Richard E. Rybolt of Middletown and three granddaughters. His wife Elizabeth Green Rybolt died last April.
