Date Set For Clermont County Jury Drawings
The Clermont County Jury Commission will meet at the courthouse in Batavia at 12 30 p m on Wednesday December 16 to draw petit and grand juries for the January court term. Commission members Horace White and Clarence Buerkle announced the plan.

Tax collections on retail sales in Clermont County for the week ending November 14 and year to date are down from the same periods in 1958. Week totals were 13,866.78, down 1,224.22 from 15,091.00 the prior year. year-to-date 239,741.88, 50,728.05 below last year’s total.

Williamsburg Ineligible Player Costs Grid Title
Williamsburg high school surrendered its 1959 football league championship to Goshen after records showed a player was ineligible. Officials say incomplete records from the player’s prior school led to mistaken eligibility.
