Eight Farmers Institutes Planned Across Clermont County
Eight farmers institutes will be held in Clermont County this spring under the State Extension Service. Meetings run the week of February 18 in Williamsburg Moscow Marathon Laurel Amelia Newtonsville and Bethel with Bethel on February 21 featuring Rev. Russell Hoy. Christmas Seals Aid Tuberculosis Fight in Clermont County
Figures from the Clermont County Tuberculosis and Health Association show 224 X-ray examinations last year, with 189 free of charge. In 1944-45 school year 886 children were tuberculin tested and 42 follow up X-rays were done. The association attributes low tuberculosis deaths to careful screening and Roentgen’s X-ray, discovered fifty years ago.
