100 Years Old Amelia Resident Celebrates Birthday
Barbara Ellis of Amelia marked her 100th birthday with a quiet observance at her daughter Belle Green’s home in Amelia. Born December 3, 1835 near Hamersville, she was the widow of S. H. Ellis, with one child Belle Green. She moved to the county in 1872 and has resided with family in Amelia for 14 years. She has two great grandchildren Burton and Virginia Green.
