Williamsburg Man Hurt In Car Crash
Williamsburg man Louis Bates of Route 2 was injured early Friday when his car skidded off U S 50, a mile and a half east of Milford. He suffered severe facial cuts and possible rib fractures and was taken to Our Lady of Mercy hospital by Craver Ambulance.

Glen Este resident Allen K. Smythe, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Smythe, past president of the Mt. Batavia Council Adopts Pinball Shuffle Board and Jukebox Rules
Batavia council approved an ordinance affecting pinball machines shuffle boards and juke boxes in restaurants and taverns. Licenses set at 100 dollars for exhibitors 300 dollars for distributors with 15 dollar exhibitor fees and 300 dollar distributor licenses plus 15 dollar juke box fee. Machines must be unplugged at 11 pm and no one under 18 may play. Two Held To Jury On Larceny Count
John Dawson and Walter Osborne of Cincinnati bound over to the Clermont County Grand Jury on grand larceny charges. They were arrested at a junkyard by Cincinnati police and held in county jail on $2000 bond each. They allegedly stole a reel of copper wire valued at $852.69 from a CG&E substation four miles west of New Richmond. The reel weighed 1800 pounds and measured 2900 feet. Sterling L. Brown and Harold D. Nichols appeared as counsels for the defendants and plant, respectively.
