SCHOOLS MUSIC BOOSTERS meet December 6 at 7 p.m. in the High School band room. Booster contact numbers listed for AD orders. Also separate events include Breakfast with Santa, Yuletide Festival, a newspaper drive, eighth grade placement testing, a liturgy at Ursuline Academy, Lunch with Santa, and a girls volleyball program with contact numbers.
Glen Este High School Purple Pride Marching Band takes Division I Band first place and Trojan Guard wins Division I Guard first at the Veterans Day Parade in Batavia. Robert Hoeflinger directs the 74 member band. 1983-84 officers include Michelle Suttles president and Mike Troxel vice president.
The Clermont Northeastern school system will host the Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner for district seniors on December 14 at 1 p.m. in the Intermediate School cafeteria. A student program follows. An Employee Christmas Potluck is planned for Friday evening, December 9 at CNE Middle School, with door prizes and potluck dishes required from staff and retirees.
The Williamsburg High School Concert Band Junior High Band and Chorus present their 1983 Christmas Concert Dec 11 to 13. Performances include Christmas Festival Greensleaves Sleigh Ride and Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer with conductors Tim Hold and Julia Hess.
