Alfred McBurney Craig Craver died recently in Fernandina Florida at age 76 or 80. He enlisted in the U S service from Lebanon last May and was buried with military honors in Lebanon on Friday. The G A R Post oversaw the ceremonies. Known in this place as Pete Craver he worked two years in the auditor's office under G W Temple. He was a quiet Republican and well liked by friends who mourn his early departure.

School Board Adopts New Teaching Methods At Last Meeting
At the meeting last Thursday night the board approved reforms including a switch from Spencerian to vertical handwriting and the adoption of French's eight volume arithmetic at eight volumes.
