Walter Hannah and wife were held up Monday night at Ten Mile on the A P highway at about 10 30 by a lone bandit who ordered them to drive off the road. Hannah knocked him down and after a fierce struggle the robber fled, leaving his 1924 Willy s Knight touring car behind. Sheriff Roberts seized the vehicle and seeks clues on the six foot tall suspect in a brown suit and cap.

Arrest of 84-year-old Felicity man for whisky production
Richard Walton known as Dick, 84 of Felicity, was jailed after 2 AM Saturday arrest by Sheriff Roberts and deputies for possession of and manufacturing whisky. A home made still and whisky were seized. Walton pled guilty before Judge White, was fined 100 dollars plus costs, and returned to jail. He lives with two grandsons in Franklin township, claims a long life with many descendants, and boasts whisky’s uses from medicine to external applications.
