Milford Area Lions Club and the Miami Canoe club host the U.S. C A National Amateur Canoe Championships on the Little Miami River. The course features hills and valleys with mild currents and riffles. A mass start supports up to 50 canoes with a safe start and a single dam near Foster.

Elizabeth K. Fisher, 51, of 484 Green Road, was found guilty on seven counts of welfare fraud in Clermont County Common Pleas Court. The indictment alleged she collected 1394 in Welfare Aid to Dependent Children payments December through unspecified periods while employed and holding credit accounts.
