At Ripley Ohio seven thousand vote against dissolving the Ohio District Warehouse Co with about 2400 for dissolution. Majority favored delaying dissolution as prices could not be assured. Proxies were issued to support the majority. About 250 stockholders attended and an annual meeting to elect directors was planned. Auto Crash Injures Five Near Milford
Ed Pride his wife and Carl Wilson of Bethel along with Frank Wilson and his mother of Batavia were driving from Milford Saturday night when their lights went out. The car struck a culvert a mile past Milford, turning over and wrecking. Frank Wilson broke his right leg below the knee, his mother suffered facial cuts, and the others were badly bruised. The emergency brake was applied too late to prevent the crash.

Pioneer Widow Susan Liston Dies at Mt Holly
Mrs. Susan E. Liston widow of Wm. W. Liston died at her Mt. Holly home Saturday evening in her 94th year. Funeral Tuesday at Mt. Holly Christian Chapel with burial in Amelia. Survived by four children: Miss Leon Liston and Mrs. Belle Lytle of Mt. Holly, Frank Liston of Nickerson Nebraska, and Rev. Wm. W. Liston of Chicago.

Headquarters Company at Batavia returned from Camp Perry with the highest combat efficiency rating. Lieut Forrest E. Ely and Second Lieut Clyde Tom led 22 men and three orderlies. all were healthy. Company G 147 Hillsboro led in marksman qualifications and won the brigade volleyball championship, finishing second in the regimental track meet.

Ohio teachers to begin fall term despite budget strain
Ohio county superintendents met with Dr. B O Skinner and J W Fichter to decide that schools will start the fall term at the usual time. They will rely on the January legislature session for funds and consider a state tax to aid districts. Checks totaling 424000 have been mailed to state aid districts for past salaries and maintenance, with a minimum teacher salary of 800 per year set by the group.

4-H Club Exhibits Shine at Clermont County Fair
Visitors praised the 4-H club displays as 477 Clermont youths aged ten to twenty showcased 215 sewing entries 93 in vegetables and gardening and many more in food flowers handicraft livestock and farm accounts.
