Drowning Boy Saved by Chief Konrad with Resuscitator
Jackie Nibert a Milford youth was knocked unconscious while playing near Camp Dennison. Harley Singleton and Milford Police Chief Earl N. Konrad used a newly purchased resuscitation unit to revive him after 46 minutes of inhalator use. He was taken to Dr A P Basinger Terrace Park and listed with a nasal fracture and shock. The device was one of four county emergency units recently bought by Clermont County Commissioners for use at Milford Batavia Felicity and New Richmond.

Walkout Involves About 100 At Clasgens Company
The J. H. Clasgens Company of New Richmond obtained a temporary injunction from Clermont County Common Pleas Court against United Construction Workers an affiliate of United Mine Workers to stop union interference with company operations. About 100 workers are involved in the walkout with several disturbances reported and six assault charges filed with Batavia Mayor A C Munden, five served.
