Aden C Nash wife and daughter, and son in law Lyle Raey of Cincinnati, were in a Tuesday last week auto wreck near Baker Oregon. Mrs Nash and Mrs Rasey suffered serious injuries, with vertebra fracture and collar bone break respectively. all were hospitalized at St Elizabeth hospital in Baker. The Nash car was total wreck, blamed on road debris. a replacement vehicle was obtained.

Three Fined After Brief Liquor Raid Near Amelia
Three men faced Judge Charles G. White after a liquor enforcement raid near Amelia last week. Louis Malgras pleaded guilty to sale of liquor without a state license and received six months in jail, a $200 fine, and costs with the jail term suspended on costs. Earl Fry also pleaded guilty to the same charge, got four months in jail and a $200 fine with the sentence suspended on payment of the fine. Georgia Harris pleaded guilty to selling and was fined $200 plus six months in jail with the jail term suspended on payment of the fine.

County Commissioners approved four WPA projects with total cost estimates of 35 698 dollars split 30 181 from federal funds and 3 517 from county funds.
